                         CANCELLATION OF GHANA’S 63RD INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION IN BERLIN 

        The Embassy of Ghana wishes to announce for the information of the public that following the growing number of cases of coronavirus infection reported in Germany in general, and particularly with the newly confirmed cases recorded in Berlin, the  National Day celebration to commemorate the 63rd Anniversary of Ghana’s Independence in Germany, which was  scheduled to be held on Friday, 6th March, 2020 at Waldorf Astoria in Berlin, has been called off.

       We deeply regret the decision but we are of the firm belief that it is in the interest of public health safety.

                                                                                           PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT:

                                                    YOUTH EMPLOYMENT AGENCY OF GHANA WORK ABROAD PROGRAMME

        The Embassy of Ghana wishes to bring to your attention that the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), a government agency, established under the Youth Employment Agency Act (2015) Act 887, has developed a programme dubbed “The YEA Work Abroad Programme”. The programme is aimed at streamlining, sanitizing and protecting the rights of many young Ghanaians who travel or may want to travel abroad to work.

        The Agency, which has a database of Ghanaian Youth in Ghana with different qualifications, wishes to link up with private recruitment agencies in Germany, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia in order to provide skilled and unskilled labour to the aforementioned countries.

        All interested recruitment agencies may wish to contact the Embassy of Ghana for further discussions.
