GERALD ASAMOAH RECEIVED BY MR. KLAUS WEGENER, GHANA’S HONORARY

CONSUL IN DORTMUND

The Ghanaian-born German former professional footballer and football manager of Schalke Football Team, Gerald Asamoah was at the Consulate of Ghana in Dortmund and met with Mr. Klaus Wegener, the Honorary Consul, on 31^st May 2021. They spoke about Mr. Asamoah’s visit to Ghana and had a hearty conversation about the current situation of the Schalke Football Team.

FORMER HONORARY CONSUL OF GHANA RECEIVE A BADGE OF HONOUR  FROM

THE CITY COUNCIL OF DORTMUND

The city council of Dortmund on 25^th May 2021, awarded Mr. Manfred Schröder with the Badge of honour for his life’s work as a philanthropist and a businessman with development projects in both Germany and Ghana. The 96-year-old served as Ghana’s Honorary Consul to Dortmund with jurisdiction of North Rhine Westphalia and the Rhineland Pfalz for over 50 years.

In the picture with him is Mr. Klaus Wegener, the current Honorary Consul of Ghana in Dortmund and Mrs. Helga Schröder.
